The creative process began with a bold vision: to reimagine packaging as a vehicle for change, not just a container. We envisioned a package that would transcend its primary function, evolving into something more—something that could continue to give back to the Earth long after its initial purpose was fulfilled. By integrating elegant design with eco-conscious materials, we crafted a package that encapsulates both sophistication and sustainability.
The interior was designed to be as impressive as the exterior, featuring a curated selection of Seventh Generation’s finest products, all elegantly housed in 100% recyclable materials. But the true ingenuity lies beneath the surface. Once the contents are revealed, the packaging transforms into seed pods. We meticulously designed these pods to include glass vials filled with a variety of seeds, along with a biodegradable filler card enriched with essential nutrients, setting the stage for new growth.
The result is a package with a purpose, a tangible testament to Seventh Generation’s environmental ethos. This innovative packaging solution not only met but exceeded expectations, setting a new standard for eco-conscious design in the industry. Beyond the immediate impact of impressing stakeholders and buyers, it offers a lasting legacy—a garden in the making, nurtured by the very materials that once protected the brand’s products.
